PART 1

                               CLEANING PROCEDURE

  • Armoral is the #1 enemy of adhesive adhesion. Keep that in mind!
  • First dilute several drops of liquid dish washing into a mug, add little water.
  • Once diluted use a tooth brush to scrub the indentation, scrub it well 'til it leathers.
  • Rinse indentation with water, rinse 'til all soap is completely removed.
keep towel underneath to catch dripping water if any.
  • Repeat process a second time. Yes a second time.
  • Now wait couple hours for dash to dry.

PART 2

                                        INSTALLATION

Complete "PART 1" first prior to installation.

  • You'll need a set of latex gloves and a tweezers to proceed.
  • Do Not touch adhesive side of insert with bare fingers, as your fingers are saturated with oils and will transfer over the adhesive should you touch it, compromising adhesive agent.
  • Wearing a pair of gloves detach one letter at a time with the tweezers and position it above the dash's indentation, once aligned make full contact by pressing with your finger down, letter should be will fit inside indentation.
  • Only make full contact once certain of alignment. You don't want to have to remove the letter again as if done so, some of the adhesive may be removed in the process.
  • Repeat process with all the letters 'til done.

CARE

  • DO NOT apply Armoral or similar products ON or Around the airbag insert.
  • DO NOT use any sort of liquid to clean the airbag insert.
  • Clean the airbag insert (if needed) with dry towel, wipe it gently without making any pressure on it.
  • Only clean it if absolutely necessary.
  • The longer you leave it alone. The longer it will stay in place.

TOUBLESHOOTING

  • In the event of a letter coming loose or detaching, do not throw it away as you can re-apply adhesive to it. Cheaper than buying a whole new set and unnecessary as well.

  • 3M adhesion promoter can be used to re-application.

  • Silicone may also be used to aid lost adhesive - house hold clear silicone can be used.

  • Do Not ever use super glue to attach any type of insert to your dash or elsewhere.

  • 3M Double sided tape may also be used to re-attach letters.

NOTE: Troubleshooting is meant for people who didn't follow our instructions.
If you followed the installation instruction as advised, you shouldn't have any difficulties.

Safe install between 60° to 80° with 40% to 50% or less humidity  is needed for proper adhesion.
Failure to follow this chart will cause insert's adhesive agent to not stick as it should.

1- Clean airbag nds to dry.

SUMMER CONDITIONS

Humidity is no more than water particles in the air, and when the air is saturated with water at a high percentage it will affect not only the effectiveness if the adhesive agent of inserts just as any other sort of adhesive in general. Not only that but our vehicles run hotter and so does aircraft and even us humans get affected by this natural phenomenon. Therefore in Summer weather, this will be a factor in most states in the US.
As humidity can be a factor on a successful installation we must advise you of its effect on any insert installation.

You should only install any insert when the weather is cool and the least humidity, open your vehicle windows and allow it some time to ventilate throughout it. Dry  or nearly dry weather would be the perfect climate.

Heat itself is not be a factor on a successful installation. Humidity is.
