The Hood Liner Decal you've received was made of 5 pieces for easy of installation. The one shown below as of a single piece, but meant for well experienced installers.

Before you proceed, please separate each piece by cutting all pieces apart with a scissor.
Remove the Hood Liner for installation of decal as suggested below.

Plan your installation by laying all the pieces over the Liner. Small pieces should be installed first.

First off, David made a hood blanket button removal tool out of an old clothes hanger. Bend the hanger into a narrow "U" shape. Then he removed all the hood blanket buttons.

Next, a good cleaning was in order. All loose dirt and debris was vacuumed off. Note: decal not applied yet. Just there for placement purposes.

Next, all loose fibers were heated and flatened out.

After carefully removing decal from the paper backing, it is placed on blanket and heated.

After decal and blanket have cooled, it is reinstalled with new chrome buttons.

Total time: about 2 - 3 hours.
